kinda tired after work but happy man today,
did photo shoot for IKEA's ads whole day!
looking at the whole process,
1 item (chair) can take like more than an hr.
the lighting, angle, shadow effects..
wow.
also talked and laughed alot with 3 of my sip friends;
jing yan, wan yang & jasper.
they are so FUN!
esp jing yan the siao one hahaha =D
guess why i was happy like today?
apart from being fri, my fav day,
we finally dun have to READ MORE MANUALS, REPORTS, ADS & STUFF.
been doing that for hours during 1st and 2nd day!
at least today walk around the stall collect items for photo shoot,
return them and stuff is like physical,
interesting,
not sitting whole day,
so boring!
well,
my mentor jocelyn took leave till nxt wed,
so right now i try help out on stuff assigned to my other friends if i can.
called up a number of publishers just now..
'hi, this is sharon, calling from ikea.'
said this for like many times,
and learnt that 1 female mag called;
'women like that' or something closed down,
shit i almost wanted to laugh at the telephone operator lor hahaha!!
well,
jocelyn gave me an invitation to a fashion show w/ dinner for manmode mag..
i have to wait till wed to know why i need to go.
maybe is learn how to interact or discuss biz w/ prospects ba.
i'm quite excited about it,
1st time attending fashion show w/ expensive dinner >.<
btw joce is cute and tiny haha.
IKEA is soooo nice to work in,
gradually la after manual reading.
pple are so friendly there,
sometimes need to flirt a bit w/ cargo staff so that we can enter the ever-bust cargo lift haha..
well,
i meant is to make as many friends as u can w/ the staff,
so that they will give u the same treatment and all are happy ya.
i love to smile while working in ikea,
it's becoming a habit,

we can even call our boss by his name, 'Lars'.
not the 'ok lar' the 'lar',
he ang moh lang ma.
but surprisingly,
his swedish accent is not so inaudiable like aussie one,
i know 95% of what he toking about hahaha!
ikea culture si bey COOL.
well we super over-dressed on day 1,
esp. after seeing staff after staff wear so casual,
and Lars wearing black JEANS.
omg!
we can even on radio,
walk around office BAREFOOT,
hp no need silent,
staff discount off restaurant..
cool ah?
oh the restaurant ah 1st day ikea treat us de,
i ordered a $6++ salmon LOL!!
and a $3++ slice of swedish almond cake LOL!!!
plus a $1.80 green tea HAHAHA!
only for day 1 -_-
mon i wanna try prawn salad and pancakes whooo!

i am mad.
i so look forward to mon man.

i remember i 1st day have only 1 hr sleep, or no sleep cant rmb.
was excited ma haha.
2nd day 3hr sleep bah..
not that excited but feeling heaty.
like the AC so cold,
yet i am burningly hot,
and my body's heat conduct to the bed mattress and the latter conduct more heat back to my already heaty body which makes me even more heaty.
understand? lol.
3rd day (last night) was good nite sleep =)
even tho 5++ hr still good.
did i say i am helping joce who is the executive for ikea's friends loyalty prog and WEB?

the fashion show is man mode,
which means lots of shuai ge models gonna sashay/ catwalk w nice clothes while i watch in awe and eat my food!!

the marcomm dept i am working in is all girls HAHA!
so 3 exec girl (all young and pretty),
